WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDY
September 21 & 22, 2010
Get ready for a great year of studying God’s Word together. This year in Women’s Bible Study we are going to be immersed in a rich and meaningful study of the Life of Jesus. As we study His life together, we will grow in our knowledge and love for Jesus who is Messiah, the Son of God, the sacrificed Lamb, and Savior of the world.
Women’s Bible Study is also a great time to enjoy fellowship with other women. The format of weekly meetings begins all together for fellowship and teaching, followed by discussion time in smaller groups. The small groups are a wonderful blend of younger and older women who each have so much to offer. The friendships that are forged during this time together are unique and long lasting.
From September through May:
Early Edition Tuesdays, 6:00 - 7:15 a.m.
Evening Edition Tuesdays, 7:00 - 8:45 p.m.
**Morning Edition Wednesdays, 9:00 - 11:30 a.m.
**Children's Ministry Classes are available for the Morning Edition only.

Summer Connections
Ministry to Women is inviting the women of Good Shepherd to get together and share their interests in a variety of activities designed to help each woman connect and form genuine relationships. We have various activities planned every month to bring women together around common interests. We are always looking for women who might be interested in taking the lead in initiating an activity related to her particular interest... contact us with your ideas!
- Women's Hike in the Gorge: Saturdays, August 14, and September 18. Contact Jo Ann Nielsen at drnielsen@ocpeds.com, or contact Ministry to Women (see right).
- Praise Moves: NEW DAY: Thursdays, 8:30-9:30 a.m. in the Choir Room. Stretching and relaxation set to Scripture.
Mom to Mom Picnics in the Park
Bring your kids to play and hang out with other moms this summer at local parks. Bring kids, friends, sack lunches, picnic blankets, sunscreen, hats, bikes, balls, bubbles, etc...
Wednesdays 11am to 1pm.
- August 18, 25 - Good Shepherd Community Church. 28986 SE Haley Rd., Boring, OR. Parking in west lot by playground, play structure, swings, picnic tables, bathroom in church, no bike paths.
Women's Retreat
This is an annual event the last weekend of February at the Cannon Beach Conference Center. What a great way to connect with other women in a relaxed, fun setting. You will also be challenged in your daily life by our special guest speaker Poppy Smith. Learn more about Poppy at poppysmith.blogspot.com/.
Mom to Mom
Mom to Mom is a Christ-centered community for mothers of young children (0-5 years). Our focus is laying a foundation of biblical teaching on marriage, parenting and personal growth for women who are cultivating the hearts of the next generation. We meet monthly (second Thursdays) during the academic year for teaching and fellowship. We'd love to have you join us!

Harvest Moon Bazaar
November 11-13, 2010.The Harvest Moon Bazaar is a highlight of the fall at Good Shepherd! See the Worship Center and foyers transformed for a weekend of shopping. This annual event is advertised area-wide and is a rare opportunity to invite the entire community into our church building. More than 70 vendors of quality, handcrafted items bring their best products to show and sell at our bazaar. Delicious, hot meals will be catered by Outlaw BBQ.
